“Patience is a Virtue”…

So, if you are even still reading this, and not rolling your eyes…Congratulations!!  You have just shown a certain amount of patience with not only me, but yourself also.  Yes, you can have patience with yourself also!!  In fact, having patience with yourself is key if you don’t want to constantly be frustrated on a daily basis.  Life: it doesn’t always cooperate does it?  Opposition happens; as they say, and often gets in our way when trying to complete the most mundane and menial of tasks on a day-to-day basis.  So this is where that virtue would come in handy; having patience can at the very least help you to have a bit of a sense of humor when dealing with things that are out of your control rears it’s ugly head when trying to complete a task that is important to you.  And it is these tasks that are most likely that will be interrupted but ‘opposition’ so, it is best just to have a little more patience in these dealings then really any other one you may take on in any given daily routine.

Now, when dealing with other people, it is almost just as essential to have patience because you most certainly can not control the actions and thoughts of others; no matter how hard you try or want to, it just physically can not be done, to your satisfaction of course.  So, it is best to just not view that as a possibility and practice a little patience in their abilities and talents and go with the flow.  You’ll not only be a little more happier, but, most likely a little more healthier also, as you won’t be stressing the small stuff; and certainly not what you can not control.

So, why am I talking about this you may ask?  Well, simple; in today’s rush here and rush there world, people have sort of forgotten what a little thing like patience can do.  Most people see me and they ask why or how can I be so patient on occasions when most wouldn’t; and I just tell them that what would be the result or benefit of getting all riled up when something doesn’t happen right when I need it to?  Will it happen faster?  Not usually; and most of the time, not to the quality that is needed either.  So, I resubmit the question back to you/them; “Why or how would I want to have patience?”  I think if you give it some thought, and have some patience with yourself; you’ll figure out the answer to that one all on your own!

Thanks for reading, and have a little patience; the next post will be soon! ;)
